Terrific results from Amanzimtoti High School

The results attest to the dedication and commitment shown by both the staff and pupils of Amanzimtoti High School.

Amanzimtoti High School matric class of 2016 are all smiles as they boast a 99% pass rate for 2016.

With four pupils achieving A aggregates, and an astronomical 25 pupils achieving B aggregates, the teachers are proud of the matrics’ achievements.

Siyanda Hadebe, the school’s top achiever, finished off his year with an astounding 86% aggregate and a full 100% for business studies. Hot on his heels, Senamile Dubazane produced an 82% aggregate. Eireen Bowker and Jodie Viljoen shared an 80% aggregate, placing them in joint third.

The local high school’s school-leavers produced a high percentage of A symbols in individual subjects. In 2016, 12% of Life Science pupils achieved As, along with 11% of physical science, 33% of art and 15% of drama. A huge 44% of isiZulu pupils acquired an A aggregate, 27% of accounting, 10% of maths literacy, 14% of afrikaans first additional language and 3% of mathematics pupils.
