Jona Vaughan says thanks

It is a challenge to see to all the needs of the residents.

Jona Vaughan Home thanks the Amanzimtoti community for its generosity in 2016.

“With the escalating costs and high care needs of our residents, it is a challenge to see to all the needs of the residents,” said Jona Vaughan Home manager, Fiona Anderson.

Jona Vaughan Home is a project of Durban and Coastal Mental Health. The home caters for 84 children and adults with profound intellectual and physical disabilities. Residents receive 24-hour care in a safe and secure environment.

As part of their care, residents receive nutritional meals, medical management and participate in stimulation programmes.

“On behalf of Durban and Coastal Mental Health, the parents’ association, residents and staff, we thank the caring community of Amanzimtoti, especially members of the local churches, schools and businesses, many supporters and stores for their generosity, kindness and support during this festive season.

We wish you all a peaceful and joyful Christmas and New Year,” said Fiona.

If anyone would like to offer support, call Jona Vaughan Home on 031-903-2111 and speak to Fiona.
