Lab brings festive ‘big picture’ to NPOs

The festive season started early for two Amanzimtoti NPOs with a donation of Christmas decorations from Siyakha Learning Lab in Galleria Mall.

“The festive season is a time for sharing, giving and uniting as a community,” said centre manager, Gareth Bodenstein.

To thank community for their constant support and enthusiasm towards our learning labs, we donated our festive décor which would have featured inside our labs to local needy establishments, Amanzimtoti Child Welfare and Operation Bobbi Bear.”

Two representatives from the lab transported the decorations to the establishments and set them up for the children and adults on Thursday, 1 December.

“It was a humbling experience to see the happy smiles on the children’s faces. We have had the pleasure of helping to change lives in 2016. And today we have changed their outlook on what it means to be part of a bigger picture,” said Gareth.
