Keely on stage for October Jam

I urge the Toti locals to come and enjoy an afternoon of great entertainment

AMANZIMTOTI’S Keely Crocker (14) will form part of the supporting acts for Ard Matthews, the frontman for Just Jinjer, during the October Jam that will tour the province for three days.

The tour begins on Friday, 28 October at Pumpkin Theatre La Montagne Hotel Ballito from 5pm to 11pm, then moves to the Blue Marlin Hotel in Scottburgh on Saturday, 29 October from 11.30am to 5pm and finishes at Butlers in Hillcrest on Sunday, 30 October from 11.30am to 5pm.

The tour is designed for families and friends to enjoy great music and good food supplied by the venues. The objective of the tour is to create a performing platform and promote upcoming artists.

The main line-up of the tour is Ard Matthews, supported by another Toti band The Kickstands, Chloe Clark of Durban, Keely and Savanah De Beer of Hillcrest.

All three events will be hosted by Nolwazi Magwaza of East Coast Radio (ECR) and the tour team will be interviewed live on ECR’s breakfast show by Msizi James on Saturday, 22 October.

“Ard has achieved so much in his music career in South Africa and abroad as frontman for Just Jinjer and as a solo artist and I’m very excited to be onstage with him,” said Keely, a grade 8 pupil at Kingsway High school.

“This is an honour and a dream come true for me.

I urge the Toti locals to come and enjoy an afternoon of great entertainment at the Blue Marlin Hotel or any of the other October Jam Tour venues.”

Tickets will be sold at the venue at a cost of R100 each. For more information on the tour, call Brighton Hlatshwayo of Lightness Production on 083-743-3435 or email lightnessproductions@gmail.com
