Drug awareness campaign in Lovu

The campaign is to address escalating drug abuse in the community.

A drug awareness campaign takes place at Siyabonga Secondary School sports ground in Lovu Township on Thursday, 20 October at 10am.

All relevant stakeholders in the local community are invited to attend, including government organisations, non-profit organisations, local schools, churches, traditional leaders, taxi associations, business people and police.

The campaign is to address escalating drug abuse in the community and make pupils and members of the community aware of drugs like whoonga, dagga, alcohol, nyawupe and many more. A rehabilitation service will be provided.
