Footie fans invited to join Reece’s Review

The young Liverpool fan will give a review of all his team's games for the duration of the Premier League season.

Calling all Liverpool and Manchester United soccer fans.

Reece Smith’s Reds Review will host the Liverpool and Manchester United match on Monday, 17 October at Lords and Legends Sports Cafe and all soccer fans are invited to join in to cheer on their favourite team.

Ten-year-old Reece, who was born with arthrogryposis, is realising his dream of becoming the first-ever born disabled football commentator and pundit. He has been accepted into Barclays Premier League Fanzone, which is aired live on weekdays from 4.30pm to 5pm on DSTV’s Supersport 3 channel.

The young Liverpool fan will give a minute review of all his team’s games every week for the duration of the Premier League season on Fanzone.

“Kick-off is at 9pm, so come early to get the best seats,” said his father Wesley. “The producer of Barclays Premier League Fanzone has asked Reece to gather all his Liverpool and Man U friends and fans to watch the game, film the goals and subsequent celebrations, which will be sent to the producer to edit and screen the highlights that week on Supersport Fanzone.

Reece will be at (Amanzimtoti) Lords and Legends from 6pm if anybody wants to chat football or test his football knowledge. There is going to be a great atmosphere with plenty of laughs and friendly banter expected, so come down and join Reece for the big game. Everyone is welcome.

Frank Kruger, an ex-professional who played for Joburg Rangers and Zoolake Soccer Club, will be joining us on the evening, along with a few of his previous teammates.”

Reece will also do a live Skype call on Supersport Fanzone during the build-up to the game, in his capacity as an aspiring football pundit.

Keep an eye out for this show as he is rumoured to be heading up against big-name ex-Liverpool and/or Manchester United players to analyse potential line-ups, discuss players and dissect manager’s strategies.
