Three hurt in R102 crash

Side-impact collision took place at the intersection of the R102 and the slip road to the Umkomaas diving launch sites

The slip road leading to the Umkomaas diving launch sites was the scene of an accident on Monday afternoon when two vehicles were involved in a side-impact collision at the intersection of the R102 and the slip road.

At about 2.30pm, Netcare 911 paramedics responded to the crash, in which two vehicles were involved in a side-impact collision.

They found three people sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor. They treated the injured at the scene before transporting the men to various hospitals.
