Train station change room set alight
It was alleged a mental patient started the fire, but it could not be confirmed.
Toti fire and emergency services responded to a fire at Warner Beach train station where it was alleged a mental patient set alight refuse in a change room on Thursday morning, 8 September.

ET Rapid Response members contained the blaze with fire extinguishers borrowed from neighbouring shops.
According to a Voluntary Emergency Medical Assistance (VEMA) paramedic who responded, the incident happened at about 8.30am. “The fire was contained to one change room and there was limited damage,” he said.
It was alleged a mental patient started the fire, but it could not be confirmed. Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) officials were on the scene and Toti SAPS is investigating.
