Toti SAPS request those who witnessed a motor vehicle accident which happened on 26 April at 7.30am on Old Main Road in Felekisi to come forward.
The accident involved a yellow Mazda Marathon school bus and a gold Toyota Avanza.
The school bus was carrying 14 children between the ages of six and 13 years. The injured passengers were transported to Prince Mshiyeni and Isipingo hospitals by KZN and Sisanda ambulances.
Cases of reckless and negligent driving, and alleged drunk driving were opened and are being investigated by Amanzimtoti detectives. Witnesses and parents or guardians of the children affected are asked to contact investigating officer W/O Sandile Msomi on 031-913-1328 or 073-705-2086 in order for the case to be finalised.
