Spoils for Isipingo’s strong women

They were chosen because they are women who are indigent and in their twilight years.

A security company paid tribute to strong women in the Isipingo community this Women’s Month on Tuesday, 23 August.

There were smiles and tears of joy when members of the Alpha Alarms team presented four elderly and phenomenal women in the Orient and Lotus Park community with vanity pamper gift sets in commemoration of Women’s Month.

“We paid tribute to the strong women who have survived against the odds and continue to rise up in the face of many challenges to raise their families,” said Alpha Alarms communications officer, Krishnee Naidoo.

“The women are senior citizens from Lotus Park in Isipingo and they were specifically chosen because they are women who are indigent and in their twilight years, still face many challenges and rise above them all. The sprightly women were overwhelmed with their gifts and were enthusiastic about pampering themselves for a change.”
