Have car tracking details on hand

Knowing the name of the tracking company is vital in order for these vehicles to be tracked timeously and successfully recovered

AMANZIMTOTI police asks all motorists whose vehicles are fitted with tracking devices to make a note of the tracking company they are contracted to.

Most vehicles reported stolen or hijacked are fitted with such devices, but valuable time is being lost when, in such instances, the vehicle owners do not know which tracking company they are subscribed to.

This delays the tracking process, which is exceptionally time dependent. “Knowing the name of the tracking company is vital in order for these vehicles to be tracked timeously and successfully recovered,” said Amanzimtoti SAPS spokesman, Capt Charlene van der Spuy.
