Arbuthnot’s acrylic skills to be showcased

The drawing session will begin at 9am and end at about noon.

THE Upper South Coast Art Association holds its monthly meeting on Saturday, 20 August in the activities hall of the Amanzimtoti library.

The meeting begins at 2pm and ends at about 4pm.

Refreshments will be supplied for a small fee.

The demo this month will be given by Angie Arbuthnot who works in acrylics. Her interpretations of domestic animals are both vivid and highly imaginative and will bring a smile to your face and an appreciation of her highly creative gene.

The afternoon meeting will be preceded by a drawing session, which is open to the public at no charge. The drawing session will begin at 9am and end at about noon. This month’s drawing session will be conducted by Fiona Anderson and Evelyn Reid. Take along your usual drawing materials but be sure to include watercolour paper and three watercolour paints – red, blue and yellow – and of course, brushes and a container for water.
