Animal NGO takes the lead on kennel-building project

ANIMAL non-profit organisation, 4 Paws and a Tale, is planning to have a kennel-building event in the near future and calls on all DIY enthusiasts to give their time and talents to this worthy cause.
The 4 Paws team goes out at 5am every morning, come rain or shine, to feed 155 dogs and 25 cats in the Craigieburn and Malundi township (V-section) areas.
Their compassionate work for the hungry animals extends to providing a place of shelter from the elements. The houses in these areas have no roof overhangs and no carport or undercover area. In these cases, 4 Paws has always provided empty drums and blankets for the animals. However it can no longer source the drums. The NPO asks for donations of sheets of plywood, preferably about 1.5cm to 2cm thick or alternatively, used pallets in good condition which can be broken up and the wood used.
4 Paws will provide the simple plan and cut all wood to size. They hope to get families with children involved.
