Women rescued from flooded CBD building

The two were carried to nearby awaiting ambulance

TWO women were rescued from a flooded building in the Toti CBD on Monday afternoon, 25 July.

Paramedics were alerted to the incident by local authorities.

“Upon arrival at the building, paramedics found that the first floor of the building had flooded past waist height,” said ER24 spokesman, Russel Meiring.

Paramedics searched the first and second floor and finally found the two women.

The two were carried to nearby awaiting ambulance and assessed by paramedics, but both women escaped injury.
