Motorcycle passenger injured in fall
Paramedics immobilised her on a trauma board and transported her to hospital
A woman motorcycle passenger was hospitalised yesterday afternoon (Friday, 22 July) after she fell off the back of a motorcycle on Kingsway in Warner Beach.
At about 4pm, Netcare 911 paramedics responded and received reports at the scene which indicated that the woman had been a passenger on the bike. When the rider accelerated, she fell off and hit the road headfirst.
They found her lying on the road with moderate injuries. Medics stabilised her and after she was immobilised on a trauma board, they transported her to a nearby hospital.
