Biker hospitalised after N2 crash

The biker was injured after he was thrown off his bike in the collision

A 32-YEAR-old man was injured on Monday morning, 11 July after his motorcycle collided with a motor vehicle on the N2 northbound at Doonside.

“Paramedics found a motorcycle and light motor vehicle parked on the side of the road. Both drivers were found walking around the scene,” said ER24 spokesman, Russel Meiring.

“It is believed the biker was injured after he was thrown off his bike when it collided with the vehicle.

He sustained only moderate injuries, while the driver of the vehicle was not injured.”

Paramedics treated and transported him to Kingsway Hospital.

Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
