Pregnant woman, child among M37 crash injured

In a separate incident, also in the morning, three vehicles were involved in a collision on the N2 south on the top of Twini Hill.

AN EIGHT-month pregnant woman and six-year-old child were injured in an accident on the M37 on Monday morning, 4 July.

Reports from the scene indicate two motor vehicles and a truck collided on Moss Kolnick Road, opposite the fire station.

The injured were transported to hospital.

Toti SAPS were at the scene and will investigate the cause of the collision.

In a separate incident, also in the morning, three vehicles were involved in a collision on the N2 south on the top of Twini Hill.

One person sustained moderate injuries. A Voluntary Emergency Medical Assistance (VEMA) paramedic was on scene, as well as local authorities.

The patient was transported to hospital by Netcare 911.
