Computer thief shut down

The computer equipment was stolen from a business in Prospecton.

A business robber was caught with stolen goods by a Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) response officer in Inyathi Road, Athlone Park in the early hours of Friday morning, 27 May.

“While patrolling in the area at about 2am, CCPO supervisor, Michael Mkhize observed three men carrying items he suspected were stolen,” said CCPO committee member, George Snodey. “Michael managed to apprehend one of the men and recovered a keyboard and computer screen.”

The robber was handed over to Toti SAPS.

It was established that the computer equipment was stolen from a business in Prospecton.
