Inkwali hip hop producer, Bayanda Mzimela, AKA Tyraqeed Kid, has released his first single.
The single, entitled ‘Napha Napha’, which means to scatter, was written and produced by the 21-year-old muso and features LMass (Lyrical Mass).
“I started producing in 2010,” said Bayanda, whose brother Mbongeleni has inspired him through his hip hop music and events. “I have visited lots of community radio stations to promote Napha Napha and I’m excited that a music company, CD Run, which is based in Canada, Europe and Africa is interested in signing it.”
Currently the single is not for sale, but it can be heard on Bayanda’s Soundcloud page ‘Tyraqeed Kid’ or link up with him on Facebook.
He will perform live at Grind House at Nessa’s in Isipingo on Friday, 27 May and at the Nsimbine Lifestyle Centre in Folweni on Saturday, 4 June. “Grind House is the biggest hip hop competition in KZN and I will perform with Character from Kalawa in Folweni, so I’m looking forward to these two events.”
