Car rolls off N2 Winkle off-ramp
Two injured as twisted car wreck comes to rest on its side
The wet weather last night (Wednesday, 6 April) resulted in a vehicle overturning at about 8.20pm on the N2 south at the Winklespruit off-ramp.
Netcare 911 paramedics found the twisted frame of the vehicle had come to rest on its side in the bush alongside the freeway.
It is believed the woman motorist and her two passengers had been heading south in the wet weather, however when they took the off-ramp, the vehicle veered off the road and overturned several times.
Two of the woman sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor, were treated at the scene before being transported to an Umlazi hospital.
