Illovo Beach sceptical of need to move job seekers

I have noticed more people walking around the streets here.

EDITOR – We have a problem with the fact that those seeking work have been relocated to Illovo Beach.

They were moved from Warner Beach because of crime, and have now been dumped on Illovo Beach, so crime can escalate here.

We do not approve of this move. Why Illovo Beach? Why not on the R603 where there is plenty of open ground and more traffic? This would also be nearer for them.

This should really be looked into. Since they have been moved to Illovo Beach, in one night three cars were stolen in the same complex, from behind gates.

I have noticed more people walking around the streets here. Just last week, a suspicious man was seen looking over the wall.

My neighbour had a break-in during the day.

This is just not acceptable. My son and daughter-in-law agree.
