Hospice needs a bookkeeper

Khanya Hospice is currently looking for an experienced bookkeeper, with a minimum of 10 years experience and some accounting qualification.

“Candidates must have their own transport and a current valid driver’s licence,” said Khanya Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald.

They must be proficient and able to work on SARS E-Filing, SARS Easy File, Pastel Version 14 for Cashbooks, VIP Classic Payroll, internet banking, Microsoft Outlook, Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and be able to produce financial reports, budgets and report on variances, produce monthly accounts on time, handle all cash and related transactions, receipting and deposits, reconcile banking accounts monthly on time, pay all monthly company accounts, and attend AGM and meetings when required.

“Applicants must produce police clearance. No correspondence will be entered into. No phone calls or chancers. All applications and information will be verified,” said Neil.

“Applications close on Friday, 22 January. If you have not been contacted by 8 February that means your application was unsuccessful. The company reserves the right not to make an appointment.”
