Big-hearted donors donors swell dinner fund coffers
People who wish to contribute to the fund can have a short message printed in the SUN on behalf of a pet.
Support in the number of donations for this year’s Animal Dinner Fund has waned this week, but the overwhelming generosity of a few kind-hearted donors has saved the day.
This week’s donation included a fantastic R5,500 from Lennox and Michelle Thompson of Ocean Hideaway Bed and Breakfast ‘in loving memory of Tsunami and Gizzy’, and a magnificent R5,000 from Del and the late Denis Schaefer ‘in loving memory of all our faithful dogs’, as well as R500 from Audrey Doyle ‘in memory of my treasured pets Tessa, Kiki, Skollie, Ginger and Rosie’, and R1,000 from an anonymous donor.
The public is urged to support the fund which helps feed stray animals at Toti SPCA during the festive season.
