ONE person was seriously injured in a crash on the N2, near the Old Durban International Airport on Wednesday morning, 2 December.
“Paramedics were called after they received a report that two vehicles that collided. A transporter collided into the back of another vehicle and overturned.
Paramedics found the crumpled remains of the transporter had come to rest on its side in the fast lane. After triaging the injured, it was found one person sustained serious injuries while two escaped with minor injuries,” said Netcare 911 media liaison, Chris Botha.
The injured were taken to various hospitals.
Traffic was gridlocked all the way back to the top of Twini Hill as a result of the accident.
