EDITOR – I send this mail on behalf of the Illovo Beach community.
It is with the utmost concern that we, the residents of Illovo Beach, read that there is someone who thought it good if the job seekers, who cause a lot of havoc and crime in Warner Beach, are moved to Illovo Beach.
This cannot be allowed as this is a residential area and we will thereby all be subjected to increased crime.
If needed, we will petition this decision and object to it in the strongest possible way. We already had an incident, in broad daylight yesterday, at the filling station.
We do realise that the job seekers are a problem. But why not move them to a spot closer to their own residential areas?
