Off-duty cop kills taxi robber

Second man escapes with money after robbing taxi driver in Isipingo

AN off-duty policeman came to the rescue of a taxi driver while he was being robbed, and shot dead one of the attackers on Wednesday night, 18 November.

According to Major Thulani Zwane of the SAPS KZN media centre, the taxi driver was returning to his vehicle from a shop in Isipingo when he was approached by two robbers at about 7.24pm.
