Second eye surgery on cards for George
A community hero award ceremony will be held in his honour in mid-November.
CRIME fighter, George Snodey is on the mend, having suffered life-threatening injuries in an accident five weeks ago.

While his knee injury is healing well, George needs to undergo more facial surgery to improve the sight in his right eye. Several specialists have been consulted to determine the best course of action. A date for the next operation has not yet been set but George hopes to have his sight fully restored before too long.
A fundraising drive to assist self-employed George is well underway, as are arrangements for a Community Hero Award ceremony to be held in his honour on Tuesday, 17 November at the Amanzimtoti Sports Centre.
