Support CCPO fundraiser

This is in honour of and as a tribute to an amazing man, George Snodey.

A fundraiser to help the Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) buy a thermal imaging camera takes place on Saturday, 28 November at Warnadoone Lifesaving Club.

“We initially set a target of R30,000 and have to date raised R18,300 through donations from generous members of the public,” said CCPO vice-chairman, Paul O’Neill.

“We have had to revise the target to about R35,000 due to price increases and exchange rate changes. Hopefully we can reach the target amount soon. Thanks to Warnadoone for giving us the venue free of charge,” said Paul.

“This is in honour of and as a tribute to an amazing man, George Snodey, who was instrumental in the formation of the CCPO, and whose selfless contribution to keep us all safe over the years has amazed and inspired us to maintain a happy and safe community,” said organiser, Fiona Harris.

“Shane O’Brien will be playing the music and there will be lots of prizes and raffles to be won. There will be a jumping castle donated by Sean and Michelle Roberts for the children and boerewors rolls for sale.

We also have a free self-defence lesson given by CombatCoaching.Com.”
