TOTI residents have so far pledged 421 out of 531 boxes for the Santa Shoebox Project.
“It’s only 15 days till the drop off and we still have 110 more boxes to go,”said Toti project co-ordinator, Liana Erlank.
The community is urged to get on board, to spread some cheer among children, who would otherwise face a bleak festive season.

Gift boxes have to be filled according to guidelines provided on the website and include some practical necessities such as toothpaste and toothbrush, face cloth and soap, sweets, educational supplies, a toy and an item of clothing.
The Toti drop-off zone is the 1st Amanzimtoti Scouts, 4 Drake Road on Thursday and Friday, 29 and 30 October from 8am to 4pm and Saturday, 31 October from 9am to 2pm.
