Help for arthritis sufferers

The public as well as healthcare professionals are invited to this free seminar.

OCTOBER is World Arthritis Awareness Month.

Arthritis affects the young and the aged. It has many faces and among the more than 150 types of arthritis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout and lupus are some of more known and prevalent in many communities.

If you have swollen painful joints lasting more than six weeks and morning stiffness – you might have arthritis.

The Arthritis Foundation KwaZulu-Natal branch hosts an informative seminar to celebrate World Arthritis Day at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital (nurses hall), 800 Bellair Road, Cato Manor on Saturday, 17 October from 1pm to 3pm. There will be an overview on rheumatoid arthritis and lupus as well as an alternative approach in treating these different forms of the disease.

The public as well as healthcare professionals are invited to this free seminar.

Dr Kanada will present an overview on rheumatoid arthritis and lupus and alternative treatment. Patients will be given an opportunity to ask questions.
