Falling leaves complaint sees city cut verge plant

EDITOR – A letter to our local municipality.

I am attaching a couple of pictures of a municipal vehicle cutting down a plant on our verge.

They tell me they had a complaint from our neighbours about leaves falling into their property. Really, how pathetic?

Don’t you think the owners should be contacted before the municipality cuts down plants willy nilly? What gives them the right, especially when the complaint is so petty. I would like an answer from the municipality. I cannot provide the names of the individuals in the photos, as they are municipal workers.
