Drug dealer, thief netted

Ecstasy tablets, whoonga and crystal meth were found in his possession.

ET Rapid Response made a number of arrests in the last week in Toti.

According to managing member, Tony Lokker, an armed response officer attended to an alarm activation in Civic Road on Monday morning, 31 August.

“While there, he noticed a man acting very suspiciously,” said Tony.

“Herman, my response officer, interviewed the person and he seemed very nervous. A second vehicle came and assisted him and the man was searched.”

Ecstasy tablets, whoonga and crystal meth were found in his possession. He was charged with dealing in and possession of drugs.

A thief was arrested on Friday morning, 28 August in a Prospecton business he was attempting to rob.

“We have had a spate of burglaries at business premises in Prospecton over the last couple of weeks.

We installed motion sensors in the ceiling of the various properties and made the specific zones silent. Just after 4am on Friday morning we received activations from these alarms.”

Response teams were despatched and the owner opened up for an internal check.

“After searching the premises, we found the suspect hiding in the store, wearing the client’s jacket taken in a previous break-in,” said Tony.

The man was handed over to police.
