ATM bombed in old CBD

An ATM in the old Amanzimtoti CBD was bombed in the early hours of Sunday morning, 30 August.

KZN police media spokesman, Major Thulani Zwane said the bombing of a Capitec Bank ATM was believed to have taken place in the pre-dawn hours, however it was only reported to police at about noon on Sunday. He did not say how much cash was taken.
