Conservancy hosts cellphone radiation talk

We South Africans are woefully ignorant about the insidious dangers inherent in cellphone technology.

Toti Conservancy invites the public to a presentation entitled ‘The truth about cellphone radiation’ on Wednesday, 12 August at 6pm at the Toti library hall activities room.

“We South Africans are woefully ignorant about the insidious dangers inherent in cellphone technology and the massive increase in Microwave Electro-Magnetic Radiation (EMR) that has accompanied it,” said Toti Conservancy chairman, Laura Taylor.

“This has had an enormous impact on both human and environmental health. While many other countries are taking action to protect especially children, South Africa has absolutely no regulations with regard to this insidious form of air pollution.

With this in mind, Toti Conservancy is having a public meeting to share information on this issue.”

The meeting will consist of an hour long movie entitled ‘Resonance: Beings of Frequency’, a short presentation from Laura with questions and a discussion.

The talk is a result of residents opposing a new cell tower in Doonside.
