Yesteryear’s lifies in the spotlight

WARNADOONE Surf Lifesaving Club will host a special Toti-ites get-together to pay homage to the ‘legendary lifesavers’ of the 60s and 70s.

This function is open to all members, whether they were lifesavers or not.

on Saturday, 25 July from 2pm until late. Entry is free.

This will be a very informal function with live music provided by some ‘famous’ Toti-ite musos. Drinks are to be bought from the club but the braai fires will be lit so take your meat.

Rumour has it that a special lifesaving demonstration will be conducted by a squad of veteran lifies including CPR and mouth-to-mouth techniques as applied in the ‘olden days’ and – especially for the girls – they will be suitably attired in their club Speedos. You do not want to miss this spectacle.
