Haven teaches on gratitude

Join the Haven every Tuesday morning.

THE Haven will not close during the school holidays so they encourage you to take along your children for an encouraging time.

The Haven meets every Tuesday morning at 9.45am for a special time of worship and fellowship around the word.

The words ‘be thankful’ makes one realise two things: How easy it is to grumble and complain about what we don’t have, and giving thanks for what we have.

When we give thanks and gratitude for what we do have, such as our children, spouses, jobs, health and so on, then we begin to make capacity for more blessing in our lives. However, if we are continually grumbling and complaining about what we do not have, then how can we be blessed with more?

Begin to give thanks for the things and the people in your life and you will begin to make room for increase. Be thankful and it will begin a wonderful reaction. Look around you – no matter how gloomy your situation may seem, there is something to be thankful for. Voice your thankfulness and see the change begin to take place.

Join the Haven every Tuesday morning at the premises of the NG Kerk, corner of Frost Street and Dan Pienaar Drive, Amanzimtoti. For more information, call Carol on 072-673-1920.
