Music event fundraises to the tune of R30,000

Music by the river event raised R30,000.

THE second Toti SPCA Music by the River event on Friday, 29 May was a great success and just over R30,000 was raised.

“A big thank you to everyone who came along and supported,” said Toti SPCA manager, Tracey Girling.

She also thanked sponsors for their input. “We could not have put this event together without the help and support of Creative Juice Events Management. Thanks to Lisa, Gavin and Jade for all their hard work.”

Thanks also go to main sponsor, Amanzimtoti KFC, the Lions Club of Amanzimtoti, Storm Pro Sound and Lighting which provided the staging and sound, CCPO, Wasteman, Ageless Beauty, Blue Sky Mining, Seabreeze Build It, Armani Day Spa, Bali on the Ridge, Ultra Video, Animal Talk, Karridene Hotel and KZN Inflatables for a jumping castle.

There was an amazing line-up of bands which included the Hinds Brothers, Arabella Latham, The Kickstands, Fools of Fate, Gus Brown and Qadasi, and amazing fire dancers.
