Help bury destitute man

Any donation, no matter how small will be appreciated.

FINANCIAL assistance is being sought from the community to assist with funeral arrangements of Stefanus Diederick Myburgh, a resident of Winklespruit Caravan Park.

Myburgh hanged himself outside his home in the early hours of Sunday, 31 May.

“All he wanted to do is support his family. Do we understand how hard it is when you are destitute? It all became too much for him, he went outside to the back of his shack and hanged himself from a tree,” said South African Relief Project’s Anthony Patrick Symes.

He is assisting the Myburgh family and calls on the public to contribute financially ‘to give Stefanus the funeral he deserves’.

“These less fortunate folk need our help, the family can’t afford to bury him. Any donation, no matter how small will give us a chance to assist the family,” said Anthony.

Stefanus is survived by his wife, Melanie and step-children.

If able to assist, donations can be deposited into
