Calling art exhibitors
The event was a great success last year.
THE application process to exhibit art work at this year’s Hilton Arts Festival is now open.
The annual event is a series of visual arts exhibitions to take place on the beautiful grounds of Hilton College from 17 to 20 September.
Last year the visual arts component of the festival was reconfigured to create new spaces for exhibitions to take place.
“The overwhelming response from all of our wonderful artists and the public from last year, was that the exhibition was a grand success and raised the image of the festival as a whole. Something we were delighted to hear. Moving forward, we have made a few improvements and changes. The festival will have two art tents this year situated adjacent to each other near the Bell Tower, on the upper level,” said festival director, Sue Clarence.
Closing date for the application process and application fee of R250 is 5 June. The selection committee will make their selection by 19 June. There are application criteria which need to be adhered to.
The application forms can be found at www.hiltonfestival.co.za. Successful applicants will need to submit all necessary information and pay the fees by 30 June.
