Enter your baby in Lions’ contest
There are great prizes to be won, including a first and second prize in each category.
eThekwini South Lions Club hosts a baby contest from 15 May to 15 June.
“This is a fundraising event for Lions,” said fundraising chairman, Lion Mandy Roux. “We call on all parents to show us their little ones, aged from 0 to 3 years.”
Enter in three categories: 1 to 6 months; 6 to 12 months; and 1 to 3 years.
All you need to do is drop off your baby’s photo with the following information on the back of it: Parents’ names, surname, baby’s name, baby’s date of birth, age, gender, and contact details, including cellphone number and email address.
Drop-off points are at Toys R Us at Arbour Crossing and Compact Discovery/Trade Your Games in Seadoone Mall. There will be Lions drop-off boxes in the stores.
An entry fee of R50 has to be paid into the Lions account with your baby’s name and surname as a reference. If payment is not done by the closing date, the photo will not go into the draw.
The closing date is Sunday, 31 May. Entries will then go through to select the winners.
Please note, no emailed photos will be accepted.

The photos will be judged by a panel of five people – one from Ethekwini South Lions Club, one from the Kingsburgh Lions Club, one from our sponsors and a local photographer.”
Finalists will be invited to a cocktail party for prizegiving on Thursday, 18 June.
