Career expo enlightens students

About 1,500 pupils are expected to attend the four day expo.

A CAREER expo for high school pupils is being hosted by Siyakha Education Trust at Galleria Mall, which started on Tuesday, 14 April and ends on Friday, 17 April.

On Wednesday, pupils from four schools had the opportunity to listen to interesting speakers focusing on different career options and visit and speak to company representatives at stands around the mall.

Between 300 and 400 children are being hosted per day. Overall, some 1,500 pupils are expected to attend the four-day expo.

Pupils also had an opportunity to win R5,000 for themselves, to go towards paying for school fees or other school-related expenses.

The expo culminates in the opening of a Learning Lab at the mall, which opens to the public on Saturday, 18 April.
