SATURDAY, 18 APRIL: Jehovah’s Witnesses hold an assembly at Amanzimtoti Civic Centre. This semi-annual event attracts Witnesses and non-Witnesses from Scottburgh to the Bluff. The theme is ‘Keep seeking Jehovah’s righteousness’, which is based on Matthew 6:33. Entry is free, and no collections will be taken. Everyone is welcome to attend. MONDAY, 20 APRIL: Diabetes South Africa lifestyle group meeting at Pointsettia Park Kingsway from 10am to 11am. People with diabetes, those interested in learning more about diabetes and the effective management of diabetes are welcome. Entry is free. Contact Sr M Naicker on 084-403-8078.

FRIDAY, 24 APRIL: Probus Amanzimtoti Social Club monthly meeting at 9.20am for 10am in the safe, beautiful, and tranquil surroundings of Umbogavango Nature Reserve. Interested visitors should call Sharon-Ann on 083-312-5360 by Wednesday, 22 April at the latest, as in order to gain entrance to the nature reserve the gate security will first check your name against their security list.

 

TUESDAY, 28 APRIL: SAARP tea morning cancelled due to Bay Cruise (R40) and Spur breakfast ((R24) on the same day. SATURDAY, 2 MAY: Sanctuary of the Great White Light, 9 Barrow Road, Umkomaas holds its clairvoyant day from 9am to 3pm. They will offer clairvoyant readings and healings and there will be crystals, refreshments and light snacks available. FRIDAY, 22 MAY: Kamalinee Primary School hosts its annual grade 7 debs ball at 6pm at Amanzimtoti Civic Centre. Tickets are R60 for adults and R30 for children. For more details, contact the school on 031-902-4534.
