SPCA opens new thrift shop

There has been a fantastic public response.

AMANZIMTOTI SPCA opened its new charity thrift shop in Scottburgh on Wednesday, 1 April.

“We wanted to open a shop in that area for a while now so when a shop became available we were delighted. We have a lot of supporters down the South Coast who don’t often come to Toti, but want to help,” said SPCA manager Tracey Girling.

She thanked everyone for the fantastic response. “Proceeds from the shop will help us with our outreach sterilisation programme in the townships and to help us look after all the animals in our care at the SPCA.”

Go along and visit the new thrift store at shop 17, Southern Cross Centre in Arbuthnot Street.

If anyone would like to donate goods call the SPCA on 031-904-2424/5 or Jeanette Hatch in Scottburgh on 083-459-3513.
