THE community is urged to donate items for Kingsburgh Lions Club’s fundraising auction sale at Lords and Legends on Sunday, 29 March.
All types of household goods are needed, small pieces of furniture, ornaments, appliances, paintings, crockery, literally anything that can be re-sold. Items should be in good condition. If unable to deliver, arrangements can be made to collect.
“The community of Amanzimtoti and Kingsburgh has been hugely supportive of all our endeavours in the past and we have confidence that this occasion will be no exception,” said Lion Gwen Ellis.
Funds raised will be used to purchase wheelchairs, commodes and other equipment for various local homes for children and the elderly and for the physically and mentally disabled.
The viewing of items at the auction starts at 11.30am. Registration is at noon and the bidding is at 1pm.
A non-refundable registration fee of R10 will be required from bidders.
