TWO men in possession of car and housebreaking implements were arrested in Dan Pienaar Drive, Toti attempting to steal a vehicle on Friday, 6 March.
“A white Hyundai I20 with false number plates used by them and hired from a rental company was recovered,” said Toti SAPS communications officer, Capt Charlene van der Spuy.
The men, aged 23 and 25, appeared in Toti Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 9 March where they were charged.
As the case has been postponed for further investigation, the duo remain in custody until their next court appearance on Tuesday, 17 March.
The arrests were affected by Constables Sthe Khumalo, Dalisu Mhlongo, Sifiso Makonofane and Smiso Zama.
