POLICE are investigating three deaths, two in Umkomaas on Thursday morning, 18 December and another in St Winifreds on Monday morning, 15 December.
“We can confirm that a case of murder and inquest docket were opened at Umkomaas SAPS for investigation in the Umkomaas incident. It is alleged that in the early hours of the morning, a father (48) shot his 19-year-old son in the head and then turned the gun on himself. Both were declared dead at the scene,” said Major Thulani Zwane of the KZN police media centre.
Major Zwane also confirmed an inquest docket has been opened in the St Winifreds case, after a 55-year-old woman was found dead.
