Witness magical mardi gras at nature reserve

Feel the excitement and energy as the K9 unit put their dogs through their paces.

TC Robertson Nature Reserve will hold its first mardi gras in this beautiful reserve situated on the banks of the Mpanbanyoni River on Sunday, 14 December from 9am onwards.

Feel the magic of the reserve as you wander through the large variety of stalls offering goods of all kinds.

The children’s wonderland will keep the children busy with dress a cupcake, build a garden, face painting, pat the snake man and a pantomime. There will be pony rides, bongi jumping ferris wheel, merry-go-round and much more to delight them. Wander through the butterfly garden with Jenny and then catch up with Mike or Peter for a stroll through the forest. Explore Aladdin’s treasure cave – you never know what treasures you might find. Relax in Aladdin’s garden with a cup of tea or coffee and a delicious homemade biscuit or play a quiet game of chess in the cool shade of the trees.

Feel the excitement and energy as the K9 unit put their dogs through their paces. Don’t forget the eco-corner, have a chat to the hardworking guardians of the land and sea, who have a great deal to tell you.

Entrance to the reserve is free and gates open to the public at 9am. Parking is available.
