Good to know people in high places

The reason I am going public with these questions is due to my personal experience in this regard.

EDITOR – Why are the modern day religions so critical of the much older ancestral worship?

When referring to modern day faith systems, I am citing those that were started in the last few millennia of the 4.6-billion-year-old planet we call Earth.

While ancestral honour or respect would probably be a more suited description for this practice, we should not without deliberation or forethought write off the ancient tradition of consulting the forefathers.

Could it be that we are the very cause of the sensation of finality perceived when losing a loved one? Could it be that incarcerating those who have died, in a heaven, hell or purgatory, be robbing us of great comfort and privilege of being guided by those now existing in the next dimension?

The reason I am going public with these questions is due to my personal experience in this regard. I was awoken from my sleep by a gentle but profound touch of a hand on my right eye. Initially awakening with shock, I recognised the affection forthcoming from my partner Maureen who recently died. Speaking to people, including religious persons, many confirmed that they or other individuals had similar experiences. I was saddened that this is such a neglected subject and would like to hear more views on this topic.

When sensing this gentle touch of a hand in my sleep, I consciously opened my eyes and had a temporary loss of sight in the right eye but remarkably had no fear or angst and just new it would subside. I have had a number of other experiences over the preceding two weeks. These incidents ranged from witnessing natural phenomena and other unexplainable occurrences with even some perceptible facts manifesting on request.

At the bedside of an ailing person for many months, I had the privilege of witnessing my dear patient oscillating between dimensions. What we love to call hallucinations could very well be a glance into the next dimension. In my instance, my late partner mentioned family, not known to her, who died more than a half a century ago. Certain religions will regard this real and unfeigned experience I had as evil, but I can assure you that it has been of great comfort and a source of wisdom to me.

It is good to know people in high places.
