One injured in Doonside truck crash [VIDEO]
A diesel and oil spill resulted in the road being closed, but it has been re-opened to traffic.
A MAN was injured after a heavy goods truck overturned on the N2 northbound near the Seadoone Road off-ramp earlier this morning.
“Paramedics found the truck and trailer had overturned and partially rolled down an embankment. The N2 was closed as oil and diesel had spilled on to the road surface,” said Netcare 911 media liaison, Chris Botha.
Paramedics treated the driver and transported him to a local hospital for the care that he required.
The highway has been re-opened to traffic.
The cause of the accident will be investigated by police.
