A REAR-END collision between a taxi and bus resulted in three people being injured on the R102 in Isipingo on Friday morning, 29 August.
According to Netcare 911 media liaison officer, Santi Steinmann, paramedics and other services responded to the incident.
“On their arrival they found a minibus had rear-ended a bus, resulting in two women sustaining moderate injuries and a man being in a critical condition. The man was trapped in the minibus and the jaws of life had to be used to extricate him.”
The injured patients were treated and transported to hospital.
The cause of the accident will be investigated by police.
